Chapter 1
This chapter includes how to set up an VOIP device in a local network. It covers the topics of router, switch, hub and firewall.

Chapter 2
This chapter includes the topic to install and setup USB phones on windows. The training includes a detail level on how to setup the driver manually for USB devices.

Chapter 3
We provide training to better support VOITSP Inc. partners worldwide. Case based troubleshooting for technical issue in VOITSP network is with more accurate approach.

Chapter 4
VOITSP Inc. has a wide range of trobleshooting knowdlege base for VOIP device. In this chapter we will provide real life examples on the frequent problems encounter by some end users.

Chapter 5
As there are many different brand of routers and firewalls in the market, we provide some hand-on configuration to setup a VOIP phone to get through the firewall. Once you have complete this training, you should be able to solve the most frequent firewall problems.

Chapter 1: BroadBand Phone Installation

1. Understand your customers' internet connection. That will help on troubleshooting.
  • DSL / ADSL
  • Cable modem / Roadrunner
  • High speed wireless / Turbo cell
  • Satellite internet service
  • LAN
  • WiFi

2 .Ask what kind of protocol ISP is used on IP addressing.

  • DHCP
  • PPPoE
  • Static IP
3. Use straight Cat. 5 cables from NetPhone to modem, to router, or to PC.

Step-by-Step Installation
Static IP

1. Disable DHCP
2. Disable PPPoE
3. Type in Local IP. (Call your network administrator for IP addressing)
4. Type in your Subnet Mask
5. Type in Router IP
6. Type in DNS1 IP
7. Type in DNS2 IP (optional)
8. Plug-in Cat 5 cable. Phone should show “Ready for Call"
9. Go to My Account to register your account

DHCP
1. Make sure NetPhone is connected to a LAN or a router
2. Plug in Cat. 5 cable before power up. That way NetPhone sure will get an IP address from DHCP server or router
3. If not, call your service provider for an IP address
4. Plug-in Cat 5 cable. Phone should show “Ready for Call"
 5. Go to My Account to register your account
PPPoE
1. Disable DHCP
2. Enable PPPoE
3. Type in PPPoE login name from your ISP
4. Type in PPPoE login password Save configuration
5. Save configuration
6. Plug-in Cat 5 cable. Phone should show “Ready for Call"
7. Go to My Account to register your account
